Appetite suppressing salmon: For starters this fish is a fantastic source of protein and contains an abundance of healthy omega 3 oils. More importantly for the dieter, it is also a great natural appetite suppressant. Believe it or not it’s actually these good fats which curb appetite. Cayenne Pepper: This ingredient is added to many of the famous celebrity diets, and even finds it way in a few of the fat burners available. Just remember to drink a large glass of water after your coffee though; this will stop you becoming dehydrated and snacking later.
Hoodia Gordonii
Hoodia Gordonii - This is a cactus like plant which grows wildly in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa. It is in fact one of the most studied appetite suppressants in the world, with a reported £20 million being spent by Pfizer; one of the worlds leading medicinal producers.
Their study was to isolate a natural chemical known as Hoodia P57 this has been clinically proven as one of the most powerful natural appetite suppressants available.
It was discovered back in the 60's by a team of South African scientists, who noted that the local bush tribe of the Kalahari had been using Hoodia extract for hundreds of years to suppress appetite when on long hunting trips.
Several studies later and it was confirmed, Hoodia extract can reduce calorie intake by up to 2000 kcals a day when taken on a regular basis, what was more surprising was the total lack of side effects on all test subjects.
Since the 60's only a handful of licensed importers have been given authority to produce capsules contain pure Hoodia extract. Still a very rare cactus, it has been given protected species status by the South African chamber of commerce.
