What is Fulfill Plus?

Fulfill Plus is a recently released appetite suppressant which is available in store at branches of Holland and Barrett.

Do Appetite suppressants really work?

Many of us following a low calorie diet find it hard to count the calories for any length of time, without giving in to temptations. Appetite suppressants can help take some of the pain out of dieting and can help you to overcome cravings and reduce portion sizes.

How does Fulfill Plus work?

There are typically two kinds of appetite suppressant currently available, one which mimics chemicals in the brain normally released when we eat, and the other which fills the stomach with a fiberous or gelatinous gel.

Fulfill plus offers the latter, and works in a similar way to the seaweed pill - Appesat. Once the tablet is ingested it immediately starts to swell and forms a slow digesting gel in the stomach.

While this does make you feel more full, there are some disadvantages. Some people find this quite uncomfortable and reports of feeling bloated, or upset stomach are common with this kind of appetite suppressant.

Other complaints include hypersensitivity, the softening of stools and irregular bowel movements.
