Thermatrim
Thermatrim Review
Thermatrim is a fat loss diet formula produced by Vitalabs, a company established in the supplement industry for over 30 years.
Thermatrim diet pills, which were previously known as Thermamatrix before re-branding, claim to be able to speed up metabolism, reduce sugar and fat absorbtion, speed up the burning of carbohydrates, and suppress appetite.
Thermatrim Ingredients
Proprietary blend 500mg – Chitosan, guarana, gymnema sylvestre, chromium picolante and garcinia cambogia.
Other Ingredients: Phaceolus Vulgaris, Paullinia Cupana, Citrus aurantium, Garcinia Cambogia, Bee Pollen, Eleutherococcus senticosus, Cellulose, Gelatin (caps).
Are any of the ingredients effective for weight loss?
Guarana is a strong caffeine based stimulant that has been shown to increase metabolism. However, high doses of caffeine can cause a plethora of side effects including nausea, headaches, rapid heart beat and insomnia.
Chitosan is another ingredient that may assist weight loss. It actually comes from shellfish and acts as a fat binder - it binds fat molecules together in digested food, making them too large to be absorbed by the body. This can bring down the calorie content of meal down by 30%.
Chitosan has shown some promising results, however it is still no replacement for the clinically proven prickly pear cactus extract, or the prescription strength Orlistat which features in a lot of the top selling fat binders.
Chitosan has also been known to cause some pretty nasty allergic reactions in a small percentage of people who have tried it; this is normally due to the shellfish content.
Thermatrim Dosage
To be taken by Adults only.
Take 1 pill 2x per day - do not take after 4pm.
Do not take for longer than 6 months.
Thermatrim Conclusion
Thermatrim has yet to be involved with any clinical trials, but it does contain ingredients which have proven to be effective in other formulations. Actual User feedback is hard to come by and tends to be fairly mixed, reports of side effects are pretty rare but some people have complained of headaches and increased heart rate.
These are common side effects associated with stimulant based fat burners, it is one of the reasons we do not recommend them as an effective, long term weight loss strategy.
